• Uses- It often grows among lava flows. Historically, noni has been used for thousands of years in Polynesia as a food source and for medicinal uses (usually applied to the skin). Today, noni is promoted as a dietary supplement to prevent cancer, prevent infections, treat high blood pressure, and help with other conditions.
• Soil and climate :-Noni tolerates a wide range of drainage conditions including seasonal waterlogging, but it prefers free, well drained soils. It can grow in wide range of acidity levels.
• Sun:- Full sun is best, but a noni will also tolerate light shade. Deep shade decreases flowering and fruiting and may shorten the lifespan of the shrub. Special features: In ancient times, Noni was a valuable dye plant.
• Water:-Noni tolerates a wide range of drainage conditions including seasonal waterlogging, but it prefers free, well drained soils. It can grow in wide range of acidity levels. Mature cultivated Noni can easily withstand 20-350C and mean annual rainfall of 250-4000 mm.
